EM-Tec Cryo grid storage boxes

Introduction

The EM-Tec cryo grid boxes are used with cryo-vitrification systems and are all compatible with the TFS / FEI Vitrobot, Gatan CP3 / 3500 / 626 and the Leica EM GP cryo plunge systems. The base of the boxes includes 4 cavities for 4 cryo grids, a diameter of 14mm with a indent to accommodate the notch in the cryo plunge systems. The cryo grid box for the AutoGrids has larger cavities to accommodate the larger diameter AutoGrids.The available EM-Tec cryo grid boxes are:

• EM-Tec GCB4 cryo grid box with clear rotating lid and reduced static blue ABS body with 4 diamond shaped cavities
• EM-Tec CGB-7 cryo grid box with pin type lid and reduced static blue ABS body with 4 cavities
• EM-Tec CGB-4A cryo grid box with rotating lid, body and screw all made from alumium, ESD safe and excellent cryo properties
• EM-Tec CGB-7A cryo grid box with pin type lid and body both made from aluminium; ESD safe and excellent cryo properties
• EM-Tec CGB-6 Premium Kryo-Grid-Box, hergestellt aus anti-statischem Polymer-Kunststoff. Basis mit 4 rautenförmigen Aussparungen mit Markierungen und Click-Stop Mechanismus für den Deckel
• EM-Tec ACB-4A cryo grid box with larger cavities for AutoGrids and pin type lid. Body and lid both made from aluminium; ESD safe and excellent cryo properties
