Micro-Tec PTFE beakers
Introduction
The Micro-Tec PTFE beakers are a safe alternative for glass beakers. The robust Micro-Tec PTFE beakers are made from solid, non-porous PTFE with a smooth finish and a flat base. The spout allows for easy pouring of liquids and helps to minimize spills. The PTFE (PolyTetraFloroEthylene) beakers can be used for mixing chemicals, holding or mixing of liquids and chemicals. PTFE is also know under brand name Teflon. The Micro-Tec PTFE lab beakers are chemically inert to acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and oils. They are virtually unbreakable and cryo compatible. They can withstand temperatures up to 250 C; heating plates should be used for heating – no open flames. The Micro-Tec PTFE beakers are available in sizes ranging from 30 to 1000 ml.
