OpenManipulator-Pro from Robotis: performance at the service of research
Manipulator-H is a robotic arm with 6 degrees of freedom, ROS compatible, made of 3 joints each equipped with a high-performing Dynamixel Pro Plus . These actuators all embark a DC motor, a servo controller, a driver, a sensor and a cycloid type reduction gear system.
You’ll get a robotic arm able to move in all directions, with an ultra-precise control of torque, position, speed and current thanks to the extensive feedback provided by a rotary encoder, an absolute encoder and the sensor.

The Open Manipulator-Pro robotic arm from ROBOTIS also is the ideal base for teaching advanced programming. Its software environment makes it possible to program the arm using many languages: C++, Java, LabVIEW, C#, etc. You also have access to a comprehensive, open-source C-based code library.
The many features of the robotic arm make it a great system for experimenting with kinematics and dynamics. For the latter, a code library is available with many examples (inverse kinematics, direct kinematics).
